Overview
THE GRAND INDOCHINA EXPEDITION
Welcome to the ultimate 14-Day Epic Vietnam Cycling Tour, a legendary journey that traverses the majestic "S" curve of Vietnam from the ancient northern capital to the vibrant southern metropolis. This is more than a cycling holiday; it is a profound exploration of a nation's soul, bridging the gap between harrowing war history and the breathtaking serenity of its natural landscapes.
Our odyssey begins in the thousand-year-old streets of Hanoi, where we find our roots in the ancient village of Duong Lam before heading south via the iconic Reunification Express. From the moment you arrive in Central Vietnam, the landscape transforms. You will pedal through the subterranean wonders of Paradise Cave, navigate the hallowed grounds of the DMZ, and "rock and roll" along the rugged, jungle-clad Ho Chi Minh Trail.
As we transition from the mountains to the sea, you will conquer the world-famous Hai Van Pass, feeling the adrenaline of the climb and the euphoria of the descent into the lantern-lit charm of Hoi An. Our route hugs the pristine coastline, taking you through hidden fishing villages in Quy Nhon, the geological marvels of Ganh Da Dia, and the sun-kissed beaches of Nha Trang. Finally, we land in Saigon to uncover the ingenious underground world of the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Designed for those who crave adventure without compromising on authenticity, this tour combines high-quality cycling, expert historical narration, and deep cultural immersion. Every mile on the saddle tells a story of resilience, beauty, and the warm-hearted spirit of the Vietnamese people. Join Golden Cycling Tours and turn the pedals of history on this once-in-a-lifetime cross-country expedition.

After a traditional lunch with a local family, we pedal past endless rice paddies to the Mia Pagoda, home to 287 breathtaking statues.
