Overview

Experience the Heart of Cambodia on Two Wheels

Are you ready to pedal through the pages of history and discover the soul of the Kingdom of Cambodia? Our 10-Day Cambodia Circle Biking Tour is meticulously crafted for the adventurous traveler who seeks a profound, intimate connection with the land, the resilient people, and the timeless culture of this Southeast Asian gem. Unlike conventional, fast-paced bus tours that merely skim the surface, our immersive itinerary takes you deep into the off-the-beaten-path regions, allowing you to breathe in the crisp, rural air, witness the authentic, daily life of Khmer villagers, and explore the country’s most iconic, world-famous landmarks from the saddle of your bicycle.

This comprehensive "Circle" route is a grand loop that begins and concludes in the cultural epicentre of Siem Reap. Over the course of 10 adventurous days, you will traverse a strikingly diverse landscape—from the towering, vine-covered, mossy ruins of the Angkor Archaeological Park to the serene, meandering banks of the mighty Mekong River, and the quaint, artistic charm of Battambang with its perfectly preserved French colonial architecture. The terrain is predominantly flat, making it accessible for cyclists of moderate fitness, yet every kilometer cycled presents a new, fascinating insight into the intricate fabric of Southeast Asian life.

Imagine yourself riding through dusty, sun-dappled village tracks, gliding past vibrant, emerald-green rice paddies, and pedaling along shaded, palm-fringed roads where time seems to stand still. You will have the unique opportunity to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the iconic Angkor Wat, engage in heartfelt, non-verbal exchanges with local farmers, cross rushing rivers via traditional ferries, and gain an intimate understanding of Cambodia’s long history of resilience and unyielding joy. This is far more than a typical cycling holiday; it is an all-encompassing, life-affirming journey that challenges your body, invigorates your senses, and enriches your spirit. Whether you are a solo explorer, a traveling couple, or a group of adventurous friends, this tour provides a unique, eco-friendly mode of transportation to see Cambodia at a pace that allows you to soak in every beautiful, gritty, and glorious detail. Join us as we traverse the heartland, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Highly recommend cycling through Cambodia Cycling with Golden Cycling Tours Over the years I have had the thrill of experiencing four cycling tours with Cambodia Cycling: 2018 - Angkor and through Thailand to Vientiane. 2020 - Mekong Delta. 2024 - Angkor to Phnom Penh and then to Kampot/Kep. 2025 - Koh Samet to Chiang Mai (a specialized route CC created for us) Always accommodating. The guides have been amazing, sharing much of their lives and culture. The support staff supportive. The cost is very reasonable. Cycling is such a great pace to really tour and allows us into areas well off the tourist trails.

This was not just a cycling tour—it was a cultural and culinary journey! Every stop included delicious Khmer food, from fresh fruit in the markets to amazing seafood near Kep. The scenery was breathtaking, but the food and warm hospitality made this trip unforgettable!"
