Overview
Cycling the Ho Chi Minh Trail – Live the Legend (8 Days)” is not just a tour—it’s a journey through time, memory, and some of the most untouched corners of Vietnam. This unique expedition takes you along one of the most famous wartime supply routes in the world, the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Spanning dense jungles, mountain passes, and remote ethnic minority villages, this 8-day cycling adventure offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to ride through living history.
Starting in the peaceful region of Phong Nha, you'll follow quiet backroads and sections of the original trail that wind through the Annamite Mountains, past old bunkers, war relics, and former supply stations. You’ll cross into areas that were once secret passages used by North Vietnamese soldiers to transport troops and resources during the Vietnam War. While the trail is steeped in wartime stories, today it offers riders majestic scenery—lush forests, limestone peaks, winding rivers, and misty highlands.
Each day of the ride brings new discovery: from sharing meals with ethnic families in Kon Tum or A Luoi, to riding beside ancient jungle canopies in Khe Sanh. Local guides will share personal stories and historical context that breathe life into each stop. At night, you’ll rest in a mix of cozy guesthouses and homestays, bonding with fellow riders and the people who live along this legendary trail.
This tour is designed for adventurous travelers with moderate to good fitness, a love for history, and a deep desire to connect with Vietnam in a meaningful, intimate way.
