Overview
The Ultimate Odyssey through Vietnam's High Frontier
Prepare yourself for the definitive cycling experience of Southeast Asia. The Greatest Cycling Route in Vietnam's Far North is a 15-day epic masterpiece curated by Golden Cycling Tours, designed for those who believe that the best way to understand a country is through the rhythm of their pedals and the sweat of a hard-earned climb. This isn't just a tour; it’s a cross-regional expedition that stitches together the two most iconic landscapes of Northern Vietnam: the golden, sculpted rice terraces of the Northwest and the jagged, gravity-defying limestone peaks of the Northeast.
Spanning over 1,000 kilometers, this route takes you through the "Golden Staircase" of Mu Cang Chai, across the high-altitude passes of Ha Giang, and deep into the primeval jungles surrounding Ba Be Lake. You will navigate the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, often called the "King of Passes," and descend into hidden gems like Du Gia and Bac Me that remain largely untouched by the modern world. Every day offers a new cultural revelation, as you share the road with the H’mong, Dao, Tay, and Thai ethnic minorities, witnessing a way of life that has endured for centuries.
With a professional support team, high-performance mountain bikes, and a passion for the frontier, Golden Cycling Tours ensures that every technical detail is managed with excellence. From the mist-covered "Heaven’s Gates" to the serene boat cruises through river caves, this 15-day saga is the pinnacle of adventure cycling in Vietnam.
