Overview

The 27-Day Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand Cycling Expedition is the definitive journey for those who seek to conquer the heart of Southeast Asia on two wheels. This epic odyssey spans over 2,000 kilometers, connecting three distinct nations through their most breathtaking landscapes, ancient heritage sites, and vibrant local cultures. From the thousand-year-old history of Hanoi to the neon-lit horizon of Bangkok, this tour offers an unparalleled transition of scenery—from mist-shrouded northern mountains and sun-drenched coastal roads to the lush waterways of the Mekong and the jungle-clad ruins of the Angkor Empire.

Our expedition begins in Northern Vietnam, where we warm up our legs in the idyllic stilt-house valley of Mai Chau and the ancient rainforest of Cuc Phuong National Park. After witnessing the limestone "Halong Bay on land" in Ninh Binh, an overnight train whisks us to the imperial majesty of Hue. We then follow the coastline, conquering the legendary Hai Van Pass to reach the lantern-lit charm of Hoi An. The ride continues along the stunning Central Coast through Quy Nhon and Nha Trang, before climbing into the refreshing highlands of Dalat, the "City of Eternal Spring." From the mountains, we enjoy an exhilarating descent to the red sand dunes of Mui Ne and the bustling metropolis of Saigon.

The journey turns toward the "water world" of the Mekong Delta, where we cycle along narrow canal paths and fruit orchards, eventually crossing the border by boat to Phnom Penh. In Cambodia, we delve into the tragic yet resilient history of the nation before heading to Siem Reap. Here, we spend days cycling through the Angkor Archaeological Park, reaching hidden temple gates by bike. The final leg takes us across the border into Thailand, pedaling through the smooth rural roads and tranquil dams of Sa Kaew and Kabinburi toward our triumphant finish in Bangkok. This is more than a bike tour; it is a 27-day masterclass in endurance, discovery, and cultural immersion.
