Your adventure begins in Hanoi, where you’ll gather in the morning and set off on the first leg of your journey. The route to Yen Bai is 90 kilometers long, mostly on paved roads, which makes it a good introduction to the terrain you’ll face in the coming days. As you cycle through the Vietnamese countryside, you’ll witness rolling hills, rice paddies, and quaint villages. The journey is relatively flat, allowing you to settle into your rhythm. Once you reach Yen Bai, take the evening to relax, enjoy a traditional meal, and reflect on the beauty of the journey ahead.
