Overview
Experience the ultimate cross-border challenge with our 20-Day Bangkok to Siem Reap and Hanoi Cycling Odyssey. This is not merely a bike tour; it is a profound journey through the soul of Southeast Asia, spanning three distinct nations: Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Covering nearly 2,000 kilometers of diverse terrain, this expedition is meticulously designed for the intrepid traveler who seeks to experience the subtle transitions of culture, language, and landscape that only travel on hai wheels can provide.
Your adventure begins in the vibrant metropolis of Bangkok, quickly transitioning into the rustic, rural charm of Cambodia as we cross the border toward Sisophon. You will spend days pedaling through the "Greatest Archaeological Site on Earth"—the Angkor Temple Complex. From the jungle-entwined ruins of Beng Mealea to the exquisite pink sandstone of Banteay Srei, the spiritual heart of Cambodia will leave you breathless. As we move south through the historical capital of Phnom Penh and the quiet backpaths of Takeo, we cross into Vietnam, entering the verdant "Water World" of the Mekong Delta.
The Vietnamese leg of the tour is a masterpiece of variety. We navigate the intricate maze of canals in Chau Doc and Vinh Long before heading into the breathtaking highlands. You will conquer the exhilarating climbs to the "City of Eternal Spring," Dalat, followed by a legendary 90km descent to the turquoise bays of Nha Trang. Following the rhythmic waves of the Central Coast, we explore the historical sites of My Lai, the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An, and the Imperial Citadel of Hue. After conquering the world-famous Hai Van Pass, we conclude our epic voyage in the thousand-year-old capital of Hanoi. This 20-day marathon offers a kaleidoscopic view of Indochina, combining physical triumph with deep cultural immersion.
