Overview
Prepare yourself for the ultimate Southeast Asian cycling odyssey. This 22-day expedition is more than just a bike tour; it is a profound journey through the heart of the Indochinese peninsula, spanning three incredible countries: Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. Starting from the thousand-year-old capital of Hanoi, we venture into the rugged and majestic landscapes of Northwest Vietnam. You will conquer legendary mountain passes like O Quy Ho (Tran Ton), witness the awe-inspiring terraced fields of Mu Cang Chai—a national heritage site—and delve into the heroic history of Dien Bien Phu.
As we cross the border into the "Land of a Million Elephants," the pace shifts. You will cycle along the emerald waters of the Nam Ou River, explore hidden caves in Muang Ngoi, and reach the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang. Here, the golden temples and the serene Mekong River provide a spiritual respite before we embark on a scenic slow boat journey toward the Thai border.
The final leg of our adventure takes us into the "Rose of the North," Thailand. From the Golden Triangle and the artistic wonders of Chiang Rai to the misty mountains of Mae Salak and Chiang Dao, the terrain offers a mix of challenging climbs and rewarding descents. The journey concludes in the cultural hub of Chiang Mai, leaving you with a lifetime of memories, friendships, and the immense satisfaction of having traversed one of the most beautiful regions on Earth by the power of your own pedals.
